Automobiles in Germany's Town Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Approximately 50 automobiles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German town of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to law enforcement.

Automobiles, building surfaces and mailboxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they reported in a statement.

Law enforcement say they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a individual noticed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued substance.

The substance had been placed in the pattern of a banned symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then discovered many other smeared automobiles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public display of Nazi symbols.

Officials state initial examinations indicate the fluid was most likely blood from a person.

"There is still no clue as to its source; officials are presently not cognizant of any harm in relation with the event," they commented.

Local authorities announced they were attempting "to resolve the case" and have requested to the community for information.

A high-ranking representative commented the incident rendered him stunned and needed to be resolved quickly.

"This act hits the very heart of Hanau and revives the trauma of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on a platform, referring to the death of nine people by a shooter focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
