WHere is a home-style take on a beverage found on our latest menu. It's a batch pre-mixed that is bursting full of flavours of a Christmas time, which makes it ideal for your celebration. Save the extra cordial for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or for additional servings of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
Making the Cordial: Put all the items in a pan, bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Next, remove from the heat and let it to cool down fully. Transfer to a clean bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for up to a month.
To make Premix: Mix every liquids into a big jug, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
For serving: Add 85ml of the cocktail base into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and stir carefully for one minute to cool it down. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil over the drink.
